Clunking sound.....

sometimes when i make turns my X makes a clunking noise, can sum1 please post what i should check for, and if i should check somthing please describe it as im not very knowlegeable when it comes to cars.

everything in the front end. Specifically everything on the spindle and all the bushings since you said it only happens when you turn. so basically everything and anything could make the clunking.

Does it happen when you go over bumps while going straight? Does it sound like its comming from underneith your seat?

id say get out of the truck, then rock it back and forth, lisson for your noise. see if you can pin point it from outside the truck.
 






Mine does the same thing, the following has been done & there's been no change:
Sway bar & RA bushings
My tie rods look ok, I can't feel or see any play in wheels
Wheel bearings
Brakes
New shocks & springs
U-joints front & rear replaced
New rims & tires
My X has done this since I bought it & it was stock
