i have a 87 ranger, clutch went out... found out it was due to master cylinder, replaced that... slave cylinder is fine... got her all put back together and she wont hold pressure. it will build pressure, then it all leaks out of that sleeve, any ideas on how to fix this? ohh n where exactly does that pin thingy go? :) my husband didnt pay attention to how he took the darn thing apart

n yes... i do mean my husband n not me just blaming it on him... hes been working on this for 4 days now ....

The hydraulic line slips onto the front of the master cylinder, and is held on by a small pin. The pin slides in and locks the line on. You push it into a small hole, perpendicular to,and underneath, the line.
