Code 332 check engine light.

I have a 1994 ford explorer, V6, 4wd , Automatic. I have replaced the EGR valve, EGR pressure sensor, EGR vacum solinoid, and the ect sensor. When I start the engine the check engine light stays out.It will stay out for ever as long as I don't put it in gear and drive it. The check engine light comes on after about 2 miles of driving and will not go out. When I pull the codes the only one set is 332, EGR valve opening not detected. I don't know what else to do to fix this problem.

is the egr valve opened by vaccum or electronic? if vaccum then check for vaccum at egr valve and if equipet check the vac regutator valve

It has a vaccum solenoid. Have good vaccum there. replaced solinoid.
Found out ford used 2 diferent dpfe's on metal and one black plastic. How do you determin which one your car uses?

take the old one off when you go to buy the new one and any good parts store or dealer should be able to cross the oem #
