Hello all, I have a 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4 v8 4.6 Getting a bit of bucking when kind of cruising and popped in a reader and it is showing a misfire so I want to change the plug and coil but don't know which one is bank 2. If I'm facing the engine which one is it? And if anyone has any other ideas of what the bucking is I would be grateful. Thanks.

bank 2 is the drivers side cylinder 5-8

the way you can tell is see which head is furthest forward on the block...that is always bank 1

Thank you and which one is cylinder #2? Is that the 2nd one in on the left side if I'm facing the engine?

yes the furthest cyl forward is one, the next behind it is 2 and so on
1-2-3-4 then on the drivers side 5-6-7-8

In the link I posted there is a picture

Do you have a misfire on cylinder 2 or bank 2 (???).
Bank 1 is where cylinder #1 is. As Fortune above said, facing the engine, the closest cylinder on the left by the air box is # 1, the farthest in front of the passenger is # 4. The one by the battery is #5, and the one by the brake booster is # 8
