Rhett is right on the cold air, the cone filter is not a cold air induction, neither is mine, which is a cone filter with a 3 inch pipe. You have to be drawing outside air, COLD air, not hot engine bay air.
And yes I realize that it is my driving style that is causing the crappy MPG's, but the thing is, I did not change from before, I dont hotrod it around, its just that it can pull from a red light better, and has a lot more highway power, so I guess in return you are pushing the pedal more. The biggest cause is that work is only 5 mins from my house, which means I am constantly stop and starting short distances.
So, all in all, it is worth the money to get a updated intake, but to really get the good MPG you gotta drive the thing more than a couple miles per trip, but they do add power, dont know how much tho.
