Not sure if I could do much in the way of heavy wheeling, but I would be interested in going. Not sure how much planning I can do for the reason of, my truck won't be doing much extreme wheeling (yes yes, call me a trailer queen, call me a show boat, call me whatever, but I paid $6800 for a paint job, I don't feel like ruining it), but I can help with some other things... Camp Hale has some good wheeling around htere from a previous CCR, and theres other things to do for those that don't want to extreme wheel it, some light trails, turqouise lake is nearby, and the town of leadville has some of them window stores that the women folk like so much. LOL.

I'm going to see what I can do... its going to depend on vacation time and where my truck sits at the time...

The Leadville area and trails are fine with me. Maybe Redcone and some of the ghost towns in the area. If the big dogs do Holy Cross, I might have to ride along with someone.

Let me reiterate, for those of you "on the fence". There is something for EVERYONE in this area of Colorado. The trip I took there (September 2003) with my Dad included running Mosquito Pass, Hagerman Pass & Ptarmigan Pass (among others) in a stock (rental) 2003 Mercury Mounty. If I could negotiate those trails in that truck, anyone with 31s and 1.5"+ of lift should be fine. If you want more difficult stuff, it's there as well (McAllister Gulch comes to mind) and if you want Big Dawg, the Holy Cross Wilderness is a major challenge. I enjoyed it so much last year, I'm not only bringing the Ex but my motorcycle (DR350) as well. My brother-in-law lives in Evergreen and might even be able to suggest a few more trails to explore.

Another good place for information on trails is at www.traildamage.com, that is the people we wheel with most of the time anymore.
Most of them are Jeeps but that's ok with us they are good people. Monica does really well on her write-ups about trails and has done a LOT of them.
It depends on money and how things are going for us, with the new job and not making as much money it is hard, plus we have the new toy I would like to get running sometime.
I'll just keep watching this thread and see what happens.

Weekends
The only dates thrown out (for sure) have been the 8-10, 15-17. 22-24, and 29-31.
I would prefer the earlier of them but would be willing to make the 22-24 if nothing else.

Heath,
They are remington Mud Brute's. 33x12.50x15
about 1/3 tread left, all 4 same wear pattern (because I rotate and use equal)
I dunno, $100 for the 4 of them?

Huh, if I was still local it would be a good deal... But by the time I ship them and then mount them not sure it would be worth it... Thanks though...
