Come on guys help me out please..

Ive posted this before but i really need help. I want to put a cherry bomb extreme muffler in my 99 mounty 5.0 v8. I cant find a good place to measure my exhaust pipe because it seems to just be coupler after coupler once you get past the cats. I want to eliminate the secondary cats, but I dont want to hurt my MPG. What should I do? Should i just lose the cats and work back from there?

You should keep the rear cats because it is illegal to remove them.

I know, but here in ole' Alabama we don't do any emissions testing.

Ok. Well can you help me out with the exhaust? I don't understand how i can out a new muffler when nothing is the same size before the muffler.

You'll get a much better exhaust if you took it to a small town exhaust shop though. They can make the adapters and get you out the door quick.
