I have a 2003 sport trac 4X4 and the dealership i bought it at installed a ford command start in it and im not 100% sure if its the fob thats causing the problem but when i unlock the doors, the headlights flash, the interior light goes on and the doors dont unlock. if i hit it twice, all 4 doors unlock.
Also when i command start the truck and the put the key in and shut the door, my abs and door ajar light stays on until i hit the breaks. Also im not sure if this is normal but when i turn the truck off it makes a beeping noise (like my door is open) right before i take the key out everytime and its very annoying. To me it sounds like a problem with the wiring for the command start/fob but im also not sure if this is normal for sport tracs. Can anyone help?
