have a 1997 XLT with a Pioneer Premier head unit and premier 6 1/2 3 ways in the doors with a Sony ES 4 channel amp. Thinking about putting some component speakers up front and just wondering where and how you guys mounted your tweeters and crossovers? Pics would be great.

my speakers are 5.25" i did this cuz i dont want my tweeter to show any where. make it look stock and then surprise my passengers! :) as u can see i have a speaker adapter to hold the tweeter n speaker works realy nice. my crossover is right behind the door pocket.

ive seen ppl mount their tweeters in the headliner, in the door panel, on the dash, and in the arm rest.

Thanks for the reply, you make that bracket yourself?

For the speaker? No I didn't I found it in a local audio shop a while ago. I did do the bracket for the crossover.
