Considering a 2006 4.0 engine purchase

I found someone who has a 2006 Mustang 4.0 takeout. He claims it has 95k in it. I would, of course, have the chains and guides replaced.

The price is fair.

Is this the same engine that would go into a Gen2 Explorer or Mountaineer? Would it be a drop-in or would I have to swap out intake and such?

As with all you would have to strip it to a long block and swap everything over.
