- 2006 Mercury Mountaineer
Hi
I have a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer where the coolant fan clutch is fully engaged during warm days but on cold starts and stays on until the vehicle is shut off and restarted after a short period. Then the fan clutch acts normal. I have learned to run the vehicle for a little bit and while I am driving I shift in to neutral shut truck off and restart and then the fan clutch disengages and acts normal. Any Idea on how to fix this?
It does not overheat
Coolant level is good
Radiator was replaced a couple years ago.
