I have a 97 Explorer with the 4.0 SOHC engine and have a coolant leak around the lower thermostat housing area. Its not leaking at the o-ring where the thermostat goes, but somewhere under that. I recently replaced the hoses so I think I might have tweaked something. I searched thru the posts and found references to leaks at the lower housing and cracked housings. I was wanting to see if someone had a exploded view of the parts in that area and whether anybody knew if the lower housing is available aftermarket. Its a daily driver so I would like to make a plan and order the parts I need before I tear it apart.
