I have a small coolant leak and I really can't tell where it is coming from. It isn't coming from the upper or lower radiator hoses. When the coolant leaks it ends up getting blown back on the front differential. Could it be coming from some other place other than the radiator itself? Would a bottle of Preston Stops Leaks do the job, thanks.

im not sure what your problem is caused from, maybe the water pump or something.

Iam having sort of the same problem, but it isnt leaking out, it is just dissapearing. when i check the radiator and overflow, they are both low or empty.

Can someone help us?

Well join the mystery disappearing coolat leak club. My coolant is always low everytime I check it (weekly)
But never found a drop anywhere!!

My buddy said something about leaking
into the exhaust, and just coming out the pipe as steam????

Check for stains on the radiator around the overflow tube. If there are remnants of fluid check the manual for the correct pressure cap, (mine use a 13psi), and replace the cap if neccessary. If this was leaking than it would drop right on top of the front diff.

Hope this helps,
FM

Check this site out, it has all kinds of fix-it-tips on it including a title called
"Disappearing Coolant". Warning: it's not a cheap fix, but you should check it out anyway. Dead Link Removed

I'm not sure if this will help. I bought my 93 EB about a month ago. I kept it overnight before I bought it to more thoroughly check it out. When I fired it up the next morning, (about 20 out) it left small puddle under it. After it warmed up it was fine and I could find no leak. The next morning I had a friend fire it up while I watched under the hood. It was leaking at the crimp joint on the left side. After it warmed up it sealed and quit. The dealer put a new radiator in it, but I hear they can be recrimped.
Hope it helps
Chris

P.S. I'm new here too and want to thank all for the helpful posts. I already have a wealth of info for future reference from here and the singleton page.

I have the same problem with the coolant leak. Finally i realized that i had blown the head gaskets and coolant was leaking out onto the block and evaporating. I didnt see any puddles or anything to explain the loss of coolant, but I smelled it burning.

Hi guys,

I just had the same problem. It's a manifold gasket leak.
