I just noticed my reservoir is empty. Am OK to put some distilled water in there to see how fast it's disappearing? Or will that ruin the solution if there is to much water and not enough coolent?

Since it's warm now it won't hurt. Just make sure there's enough anti-freeze in there come winter.

Thats not entirely true. The antifreeze also keep the coolant from boiling. Not enough antifreeze can lead to boil over.

Just fill it with some 50/50 pre-diluted stuff.

Well I didn't really want to spend any money on it, I'm planning on doing a flush at some point in the near future. I just want to see if it's disappearing fast from the reservoir to see if I may have a problem.
