Now that its getting warmer has anyone tried their cooling function on their seats? Noticed on mine the blower motors sound pretty loud on both seats, anyone else have the same observation? When I first heard it I was really caught off guard and suprised the things were that noticeable.

I don't think they are too loud. Overall, the truck is so quiet, little things like this are more noticeable.

My AC system needs a checking by the dealership. Not blowing very cold.

The two midgets inside the seat cusions have to blow hard to get you your cooled seats so please be greatful.

For those of you that I have offended for legal reasons I must say that I am a midget as well and I appologize to everyone that I have offended.

No problem, Drumguru, as I am one of the World's tallest midgets.:)

Don't forget, we have filters on the AC seats that require changing. I think the service interval is 30,000 miles.....or 17 burritos grande!:)

Hahahahahahahahaha. I'm from deap south Texas so it will definitely be the latter! haahahaha

When I first looked at the Explorer the sales guy turned on the seats and mentioned that on the highest setting they were somewhat loud and he wanted to make sure I was aware of it. I've had a couple of rental cars with this feature and noticed that you could hear the fans on them as well, although I do remember the Explorer being a little louder.

3 dots (highest setting) is loud, can barely hear the 2nd setting, cant hear the lowest. I run on the lowest setting after initially gettting her cooled down. We've already had a couple of 90 degree + days here in Louisianna.

Thanks to all that have commented so far. Agree with Hogwild that low and med are much quieter. I guess high is for when your butt is really cooking after that bean burrito.

They are actually quieter than many cars with this feature.
