Could this be bad

Yesterday while I was doing my brakes I decided to look and see how difficult the spark plugs were to get to. While I was looking at the motor I noticed a reddish brown stain on the passenger side that runs down the entire die of the block. It starts at the bottom of the head and runs all the way down. I had the heads replaced at 30K miles, and I was wondering if the heads were leaking again. The truck is still under warranty and I would like to know if this is something that is normal and is nothing or is it something I should scream at the service manager about. I thought head gaskets should last longer than 35k miles. any help would be greatly appreciated.

i'd take it to several places other than the place you have the warranty from...see what they say...if they all say the same thing then bingo theres your answer....thats just me cause i know very little about engines
