2 part question:
1.) How do you remove the plastic intake for the A/C, that also surrounds the windshield wipers on a 96 Explorer? I would assume this just pries off (after you take the wipers off, obviously), but it's on there pretty tight. Any tricks to popping the little sucker off?
Second, is the metal piece between the aforementioned plastic part and the hood bolted or welded on? (or integral to the body?) I'm replacing most of my front end after an accident, and this metal part got damaged after my hood flew up while driving after the accident. (one of many dumb moves.) Thanks in advance for any insight y'all might be able to give me.
