couple questions about the 4.0 sohc

I would caution you about buying from Morana. He's not really known for great products, but likes to take money without ever sending you stuff.

The 4.0L bottom end is very strong especially with a good tune! I ran my truck to 220K boosted miles. Never once did it ping or detonate and we put down a healthy 450 hp and 448 lb.ft torque in its early years. The truck routinely ran 8.20's in the 1/8th (12.6-.70's for you 1/4 milers). I was actually in the process right before the wreck of rebuilding an engine with custom cams and pistons. After the wreck, I sold everything and the custom cams were shelved due to a new direction in my company. The bottom end was worked out but the cams were still a work in progress. I had two cam manufacturers which were willing custom cut grinds from billet cores. I have a couple of stock cores on the shelf to date for a pattern for the cam company.

As of January 2010 a lot has changed within my company and were are in the process of expanding so many projects have been shelved (including the above noted build) to properly align and weather the storm through the next few months. -j

im extremely interested in your build since my aim is 12's 1/4 mile at the moment, any chance of details on what mods all up it took for you to achieve this. great to hear your continuing development of the build within the next few months, that's right around when ill be ready to start my project ill be interested in getting some parts if you dont have any issues shipping to aus.
was your truck rwd? that's the biggest concern for me having the 4wd version so i need to figure out everything i need to convert which could prove difficult since aus only released 4wd i just gotta hope this parts affordable.
anyway your welcome to email me a parts list with prices that could be of use to me or something when you get a chance


now another question im thinking of a manual conversion cause im assuming my auto wouldnt have a hope in holding up correct? if so is there a 6 speed that would bolt up?
