Okay. This is a multi-part question.

1. My ABS light came on tonight on the way home from work. I wasn't doing anything special, going around a turn when I noticed it. What could this mean? And why would it just come on for no apparent reason?

2. When I apply the Parking Brake, the brake light does not come on. It kinda scares me a little bit.

3. Sometimes when I put on my turn signals, the indicator comes on, and the turn signal does not blink. Does this mean that the Flashers are going bad?

1. More than likely a ABS sensor.

2. The light is activated by a switch on the foot lever, not necessiarly an indicator of engagement. I would just check and make sure the brake works.

3. Your flasher is most likely weak, an easy and inexpensive fix.

Okay, is there a way to check the ABS system without taking it to the Stealer and pay an arm and a leg?

The parking brake definately works, coz when I go into reverse, it holds well.

Where are the flashers located? On the fuse panel in the dash?

The flasher is under the dash somewhere, I don't really know where, can find out if needed.

I am not sure if ABS codes can be pulled by a code reader, if your light was on, you should have a code stored. Maybe someone will chime in here.

I'm pretty sure that there is a seperate reader for ABS... dunno how it works. So there's a switch for the Parking Brake, just like the regular brakes? That should also be an easy and inexpensive fix, right?

Thanks man I really appreciate your help. So do you know anyway to have the ABS system checked without going to the Dealer?
