Crankcase vacuum

I was wondering if anyone has experimented with a vacuum pump or any other way to put vacuum in the crankcase.

I was mainly wondering what would happen if i was to put 2 pcv valves (replace the breather hose with another pcv valve) on my EX and run both into the plenums. that would put a vacuum in the crank case but i'm not certain how it would respond. most people i've heard putting vac pumps on cars say they can feel the difference, but those are pumps driven by the belts.

I know that it is possible to draw too much vacuum in this area and start to starve things of oil and cause other problems. i was thinking a simple valve could be used to regulate this instead of the expensive vacuum regulators available.

With the method you described any gain from better piston ring seal may be lost by pulling in more blow by gasses into the combustion chamber. Drag racers either use a vaccum pump like you described or route their breather hoses into their header collectors which also provides some vaccum in the crankcase.
