cruise control help?

BY GOSH, I FOUND IT!! mine is not white, but it's there and i can here the click as i press and release my brake pedal. so assume that means it's working properly??

Not necessarily. With the brake pedal in the full up position, pull the body of the dump valve firmly against the plastic base. I have had the situation where the DV looks and sounds like it was seating correctly, but needed one little "click" more to be properly seated.:us:

sorry it took so long!!! but problem fixed !! it was my cruise control module (amplifier ), behind the glove box. from Ford $167.00 from used $25.00. guess you know which one i got??? evidently there is no way to test your module?? you have to eliminate everything else first. the price for that= $202.00. thanks again for all your help.
