Well not even 15 minutes ago I think I destoryed my A4LD tranny in the 93.
I started it up and let it warm up for about 15. I got in it and got the fan blowing, radio turned up, etc. I put it in first and I a *POP* I didnt hear it too well over the music. The truck moves forward about an inch and that's it. I can still move fine in reverse and 2nd. I still have drive and Overdrive. But first gives me nothing. I'll most likely have to keep using it like this till I can replace the truck, do I have to worry about metal shaving clogging up my filter now and stopping my truck though? Also, what do you think happened explorer forum?
