I've noticed high demand for an 02-05 lift.

I first looked absolutely everywhere for a lift and came up dry due to the 4-wheel independent, rather than lifting easily with torsion bars or leaf blocks.

I called around to look for a custom lift. For instance, a custom spacer, a custom strut, custom spring, etc. I ended up finding the number for Coil Spring Specialties. I ordered 2 inch lifted front springs for about 160 bucks. They use the OEM number from your coil spring to put together a custom lifted/lowered spring, your choice of the mod.

I couldn't be more satisfied but still wish I had another half an inch or so.

Any suggestions for this?

PS. I'm new to this site so if anyone can explain to me how to post an image in here let me know.

The problem with lift springs is that they simply raise the vehicle with the existing suspension travel and geometry. You sacrifice an inch of downtravel for every inch of lift you gain. It's just as effective as doing a torsion twist, yes, but not really the optimal solution.

The ideal solution would be to drop the front axle, and drop the rear diff and carrier assembly out of the existing carrier to get the rear driveshafts out of the hole in the frame. Combine that with new spindles front and rear, new shocks, heavy duty bearings, ball joints, and control arms, and you've got a kit!! (Of course, who wants to invest in the engineering costs to start from scratch??? Also, you'd be messing with the RSC programming as it's tuned to the specific vehicle dynamics and could cause other problems when you modify the suspension alone.... that in itself is a HUGE legal liability to assume in the design of the 3rd gen kit!)
