cut fenders

does any body have any pics with cut fenders on a 93 explorer with 35s and maybe a 4in lift?i just want an idea of what its going to look like

Search, tons of people have cut their fenders after a lift, or bigger tires.

Look through my rebuild thread, i cut mine out pretty big.

I just used a battery powered dewalt reciprocating saw in the parking lot at the tire shop. I just kinda grabbed and cut. I only had to cut the back side though. We also don't run inner fenders so I didn't have to worry about that.

Here is a shot of the better looking side.

This one I started to dig too far into the fender. It doesn't look that bad but I've seen much nicer cuts when people taped and measured where they wanted to cut. Mine is all freehand.

Here is how I did mine. About a 6" lift though. It also was enough to clear the 36s I got after these tires.
