CV Shaft Seal replacement In Diff

Hey guys,

after installing my Spartan locker the only thing that I messed up was that I accidentally damaged the passengers side CV shaft seal as it is now leaking (I was so careful too!!)

Anyone replaced one before? I really hope you don't have to drop the diff all the way out to do it because I really don't want to have to do that again. Any insight would be awesome.

This guy used my pics to do a writeup on changing out the seals, looks like he just pulled the axles but left the diff in place:
