Well, while I was working on my front end I let the axle droop too far and broke the vent tube off the front axle housing. I guess I had the hose pretty well secured.

Since I am going into it to replace a pinion seal, ball joints and steering u joints in a bit I thought I would ask what I am dealing with. Is it a pressed in fitting I have to drill out or is it a threaded fitting I should try an easy out on?

I think its a threaded fitting. But if it becomes too much of a PITA, I'd go barbaric on it and maybe weld on a small piece of tube on top of it. Or just weld the old one shut and drill/tap a new one somewhere.
