D30 or D44?

I am going to do a Solid axel swap on my 2wd and then convert it 4 wd afterwards, what should i use on the front? D30 or D44, it will be fitting at least 37's most likely bigger. Thanks in advance.

If you intend on running tires larger than 37s on an Explorer I would say D60. If you don't you're really going to be pushing it. You may end up with more busted u-joints, knuckles etc than you would like. That's IF you wheel it.

If it's just for show the D-44 would be fine.

D30 the max tire size would be a 33" if you wheel it hard and a 35" if its for show/light whelling...im agreing with the D60 or D44
