Way back in my car audio days, (and im talking like when NWA was still putting out records) i did alot of stuff with bondo mixed 50/50 with fiberglass resin. Cant say it'll work perfect on your dash... hell there may even be something out there now 100x better... but it would work pretty good. It makes a really tough, crack resistant coating that is easily sandable. It uses the same hardener as long as it's the same brand.

There is fiber reenforced filler, but with how far body fillers have progressed in the last 20 years, any quality filler will do the job. I prefer Dupont feather weight, but that's for filing dents. There is an additive for it so it can have a little flex, which I would recommend for interior panels.

I found some epoxy "dough" thats working great. Sands down nice and smooth. If everything goes well on the Volvo valve body this evening I'll be able to finish the dash this weekend (hopefully.) I also have to get the engine ready for the rebuilder.
