to some people. but most people refer to a ricer as someone who puts fake "performance mods" or stickers of things that dont exist on their car. for example Type R stickers, huge exhaust tips, removing the driver's side wiper and sticking the passenger wiper up, decals for NOS that they dont have, any fake badges, etc....

lol that wiper blade thing is silliest thing ive ever heard

YES, that is what i meant.... An import POS that tries to be a racecar and isnt and will never be......

HAHAHA

what does POS stand for?? :p

When it comes to ricers all i have to say is... "there is no replacement for displacement."

Sad to say that is no longer true. Some of those dang ricers are doing 9's !!!!!!!!!! Freakin' unreal !!!!!

how many ricers can do 7s like my friends race car?

HAHAHAHAHAHA I played with my wipers today... got bored that looookkkss soooo ridiculous... then I leave and go driving around (NOT WITH ONE WIPER NEVER IN HELL!) but I end up seeing escorts and these ghetto cars with KICKER stickers on their front windshield with no systems next to me. Pathetic!

Probabally none , but you can not deny getting a 9 out of a ricer is pretty dang impressive.

On the wiper deal , one of the piviots on my 84 Nissan Sentra broke so I HAD to drive around with the one wiper. I looked like such a wanna-be.
How embarssing.
I did fix it though.

yes, i do admit, that i have respect for the ones that are fast... i have less than no respect for the ones that have a muffler and K&N that think they are fast.......
the ricers around here--slow
the imports in the fast and the furious--SWEET!

Yeah , I totally agree.

Im willing to bet those things have to be rebuilt after every race. I a friend of mine's cousin has a camaro he races. Its got a tube chassis and the whole bit but its got a naturally aspirated 460 that runs 8s and this thing is torn down and rebuilt every other year. not every other race. As for the fast and the furious i think more money went into the paint jobs of those things that the motor. Also you dont see top fuel dragsters using 4 cylinder motors because it just doesnt make sense you can push more power out of something with more cylinders.

i know guys that race imports and they dont need to be rebuilt after every race.... keep in mind also, that fast for an import on average is a 14........ the really fast ones run 13s......and the supersonic imports run 12s.......

Maybe I am showing my age, but ricemobiles, ricers, or ricerockets all referred to hopped-up Japanese imports (cars or motorcycles). Rice being the key word. We called tuned up domestic cars hot-rods or rods.-Or a POS on a sorry job.

I went to "cruise night" at a town near me.. alot of classic cars. MMMM there is nothing like the sound of a powerful V8.
