i second this question.. i asked it in another thread but no one is answering there... id like to know as well...

Aleej...i had heard that these tires are actually made by Cooper, and that they perform just as well as or better than the BFGs, and i was wanting more opinions and to see what others think

I bought them for my 96 ex, sweet tire, they are made by hanook. I got the 31x10.5x15 buy three get one free. I have had them on for 12k and they show no signs of wear. They are incredibly loud on the highway, really good in the mud (clean quickly)and grip great. I run mine at 50 psi. also in the rain be careful
because they spin real easy.

As long as you are running AWD these tires will cause little to no problems in the rain or in other slippery conditions aired up. If you get the chance air the tires down a little and see the noticeable increase in slippery on road traction. For a "No-Name" tire they do rather well. Best of luck with them

50 PSI? That is way too high of an air pressure if your not loaded down with anything in the ex. Try running 30-35 PSI and see if your wet weather traction improves... It should, You will have more rubber on the road... If I needed tires I wouldn't hesitate to get them, I just don't care for how long I have to wait to get anything done at pepboys..

good rule of thumis go 3-5 pounds less then max pressure for optimum wear and fuel mileage

the 50 psi rating on those tires are a min of 50 psi and a max is not listed. I have ran them at 35 but I lose way to much fuel economy. And yes as long as your in awd which I do not have(2wd,4lo,4high) slipping is not to bad. They are an excellent tire for the money and they wear relatively well. they also come with holes for studs to be installed. I have aired them down all the way to 12 psi to pull a jeep cherokee out the mud and yes it made all the difference in the world.

Friend of mine bought that brand, I forget what model but for the price there was no complaints. Seemed to be a good tire.

I have a feeling that is the max pressure, tires usually do not have a min pressure on the sidewall. Just because the tire says 50 PSI, does not mean that is what you want to run it at, that is the MAX pressure used when the tire is loaded to the max weight capacity. Running at 50 PSI will wear the tires down very quickly in the center. If you still want to run a higher pressure, drop it 10 PSI and run 40 psi, I have to imagine that your ride will get better and the traction will increase with the increased amount of rubber on the road. I still recommend about 35 psi for 31" tires. Its what I am running and I am borderline too high with the pressure.

I am not arguing with ya, just saying the tires min pressure 50 psi with no max listed, I have ran them at 50 but usually after a month they drop to around 40psi,which is where i keep em. Again I am not trying to argue with you but they do not list a max pressure. Overall I have to admit they are a good tire, I have had them over a year (20000 miles) and they still look new with little to no wear.
the biggest downfall I have with them is you sound like a freight train going down the highway, and you have to yell at the person next to you to have a normal conversation.

what is it.. i post this same question and no one responds.. tho u post it.. and almost instantly u get responses.. o well

and for the noise that dont bother me.. im used to big loud boggers running down highways... i just wanna make sure that they are a tire that is both good on the road and off the road... i mean ill spend more to get a better tire if necessary, but if i can get em cheap AND efficient then why the hell not... i think im pretty sure on my tire choice.. thanks guys

i have those tires and they are pretty good

31x10.5r15 dakota definity tires on my 96 4WD and I love them. I have been running them for about 3000 miles and have not had 1 issue in dry, rain, snow, mud, or anything.

I used them on my 99 when i was in school. Being a student i did not have much but they were good. I liked them and would reccomend them to anyone thats on a budget. Good traction in rain ,deep snow and mud.

sure do!

with this you can kinda see the traction pattern in the snow

those are the ats what bout the mts those are the ones i want

I didnt like the tread pattern of the MTs. Not enough tread in the center. I used to work there and regulary talk to my old friends there. They said the MTs are loud on the highway. I personally would rather have a lil more tread down the center for better street driving. They are probably really good in the snow and mud though. I went with the definitly ATs and have no complaints.
