06' EB
I am having about a 2 second delay from reverse to Drive, It changes gears just fine. wondered if any others had experienced this. its an 06 EB 4.0. Maybe a transmission solenoid issue?

I think the first check is usually fluid level.
V8 6-speed does not have a dipstick, but i can't remember about the V6 5-speed.

The V8 6 speed does have a dipstick, just not a conventional one and difficult to access under the truck. The V6 trans does not have a dipstick or a means of measuring the level. The procedure is to remove a plug (not the drain plug) and insert a fitting to allow trans oil to be pushed into the trans. When the fitting is removed the excess fluid will drain, once completed re-install the plug.

There is a video on how to do the level check on a V6 posted by Ornery.

Good luck.
