designing a new box for my subs - got a question

what i'll have is 3 - 10" rear facing subs and i need to know the min distance requirments between the speaker and the rear hatch wall, and the optimum distance people have found.

are you designing it to compete in a db drag?

first decide on what useable frequency you want at the dash (where the microphone is placed). then you can use this frequency to length conversion equation:

Length= 13560 inches per second (the speed of sound)
...............frequency

dont pay attention to those dots. it was the only way i could get frequency under 13560 in/s
