Diagnosis help please

My 2002 4x4 XLT will not go into 4x4 Low. Everything in the transmission works fine, there are no codes, but it simply won't go into LOW. No flashing lights at all. I'm stumped. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Check the owner manual. I think on some models you have to have it in park or neutral to get it into 4low. Other than that I would take it to the dealer. Still under warranty?

Thanks for the reply, I read the owners manual thoroughly and am doing exactly what it stated. I'm guessing the problem is electrical. but thought that someone might have experienced the same issue.
