Did I do it right?

Allright help a guy out. I changed out my t-stat the other day and every thing seemed to be doing fine. I haven't driven more than 10 miles at a time since then. This morning I took my wife to work and was driving to work and my CEL came on. Now I'm worried that I put the thermostat in wrong and that's why the light came on. I'm not running hot right my temp is a little below middle. Is there any way to be positive I put it in right?

I'm going to Advanced today to have them read the OBD II codes.

Exact same thing happend to me when I changed out my T-Stat. The code was for an Oxygen Sensor. The CEL comes on for Emission related stuff, so it probably does not have anthing to do with the T-Stat itself.

I unhooked the battery cable for about an hour went back and reconnected and viola' there was no CEL. We'll see how long it stays off. The CEL came on with 92k on it and now I have 97K but it's not a regular deal. We'll see what happens.
