Difference between 2wd lift and 4wd lift

I want to put a 6" skyjacker lift on my 2wd rig now, but i plan on a 4wd conversion some time in the future. If I get the 2wd kit and then convert my rig to 4wd am I going to have to get different springs and stuff like that? Or could I just get the 4wd kit now and then I wouldn't have to change as many 4wd parts when I do the conversion?

I am in the same boat. I want to lift my 2wd but I am seriously considering a straight axle coversion with an AtlasII down the road. I didnt know that superlift made a 6" for the 2wd. Are there anyother differences between a 2wd and a 4wd lift? Sorry this isnt any help, I just wanted to let ya know I am thinking the same thing.
