- 01 Explorer Sport Trac
I just put a junk yard rear end in my '01 Explorer Sport Trac. As I cross my fingers and hope for the best, I have questions regarding refilling the differential. First off, Lucas claims that their gear oil is "perfect for limited slip differentials, no additives needed" My question, do I need the additive?
What's the capacity of my Differential?
Also, the rear that came out had a "S" shaped spring inside the carrier, the replacement does not have that. What's that about?
