dim check oil light

My check oil light recently came on. Now here is the weird part i have oil pressure, no leaks and a fresh oil change. The light is only dimly light not full brightness. Any thoughts?

hows the oil level? its possible when you changed it it was full, and it has settled or burned some off....

otherwise it maybe a fualty sensor or partially shorted or grounded out somewhere

its full so maybe i will dig for a faulty wire. thanks

Iow about the oil sensor, I dont think they cost that much, try replacing it.
