Dimmer switch?

Does anyone happen to have a dimmer switch wiring diagram? I want to know which wires do what coming out of the back of the switch. The reason i ask is because i want to do some under the dash LED's, and i would like them to be tied into the dome lights, so they only come on with them. If anyone has a diagram, or could tell me which wire(s) supply the power to the dome lights i would be greatly appreciated!
