Dirty Injectors?

A week ago my mom took her expedition in to check a rattle/tick noise. What came about was that the one of her studs in her exhaust manifold had sheared off and is rattling. Another thing they said was that they found that an injector was not allowing enough fuel through. Is there something we can do to clean out the injectors? besides having to take them out (i.e. fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank, or something similar). Thanks.

Call some local shops, I have had many of my vehicles in for an injector cleaning. They can hook your fuel system up to a machine that pushes a cleaner through the injectors.

Buy a can of seafoam and pour it in a full gas tank and your entire fuel system will be cleaned spotless. Its amazing stuff

Watch that vid. You dont have to use the vacuum line or oil cap method. Just pour the whole can in the gas tank right before you fill it up.

http://www.seafoamsales.com/ Seafoam makes seafoam. Would a full bottle in a full tank of gas be sufficient for cleaning the motor? Is it really necessary to put some through the vacuum line? (I'm not 100% sure where my vacuum line even is...)

You should be able to buy it as any auto parts stores. Some walmart stores and other superstores sell it as well. High end price is $9 a can (1pint) but ive seen it as low as $5.33.

My spark plugs are past due for changing, is there a chance that using seafoam will absolutely require me to change my plugs? (no money or assistance to do so)

You DO NOT need to change plugs after seafoam.

I foamed yesterday and it was a noticeable improvement in power and response. I cant believe I haven't done this sooner. Cant wait to see what new spark plus will do.

seafoam? that stuff work great it clean everything motor and fuel lines and i had change motor oil after seafoam a little bit in gas tank suck some hose by brake booster wait 30mins than start up it will smoke the whole neighborhood
