Disable kill switch on 99 ford explorer Eddie Bauer edition

The kill switch is mounted under the steering colum. It's a port with a removable chip. If the chip isn't in the port the truck won't start. 3 wires (red, brown and white) got yanked from the back of the port.

That sounds like a remote start bypass unit. Should be able to trace the wiring and remove it.

It is basically just a really cheap alarm system, all is does is allow no start when chip is not there.

So how do I take it off?

These used to be popular years ago. The best way to remove it, since the wires were ripped out, is to trace the extended wires back to their source and splice them back together there.
