The kill switch is mounted under the steering colum. It's a port with a removable chip. If the chip isn't in the port the truck won't start. 3 wires (red, brown and white) got yanked from the back of the port.
These used to be popular years ago. The best way to remove it, since the wires were ripped out, is to trace the extended wires back to their source and splice them back together there.
