I'm working on an early single solenoid a4ld valve body.

I found Glacier 999 valve body rebuild diary very helpful. My problem is that I seem to have absolutely lost the reverse engagement control valve from bore 207. When I first noticed that it was missing I wasn't sure that it was there when I took the thing apart. So I put it together less that piece. I was so completely unsure of myself that I sent the Valve body to a trans shop to have my work doublechecked Paid $75 they said it was fine. Today I got it together guess what no reverse. All fwd Gears are functional. Two Questions:
1. would this parts abscence alone render reverse completly useless?
2. Can I get just the parts for this bore new used or otherwise so I can replace the missing parts? Would this part interchange with newer trans models I may know where I could get a V B from a 90 something explorer.

Reverse worked prior to dissassembly for rebuild, the clutches were worn out so I replaced the clutches and seals. Naturally the valve body was completely Gunked up so I disassembled all of the bores placing parts for each bore in separate compartments in a tackle box. I am a novice and I remember one of the bores flying apart (It was probably 207) I found only a spring that had fallen. I've combed my work area but cannot find that valve anywhere any helpwould be appreciated.

WOW You're Great

Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!
Ive been in contact with WIT they haven't been able to help yet with the parts needed but this photo is awesome wish I had it back in May, would have answered some serious Questions.
I'd still like to know if the absence the piece labeled R-1 in the picture alone would cause no reverse whatsoever I guess it must have been there for something. I just can't believe that it seems to have completly vanished.
