do CV joints leak?

ok im really not sure if its my CV boot leaking motor oil or jiffy lube spilled oil on my lower a-arm. but my front end has been makin weird noises latley also.

If its on the passenger side lower A arm then it is almost a deffinite that it was just Jiffy Lube.

cool cause its looks just like it only came from the bottom of the boot.

CV boot leak would be grease (prolly blue or green). If it is just a liquid, it is prolly oil.

If I were you, I would inspect my cv boot very carefully for a tear. I had one on mine. If its torn and you ignore it. You will have to replace the cv joint. And we all know that is not cheap. It cost me $220.00 to replace my boot because they have to tear apart that whole axle on that side. Beats replacing a cv joint.
