Should be your tranny cooler. Do you have the tow package?

i don't think so. i bout it used so i am not sure. there is no reciver hitch on it so i doubt it.

It is a tranny cooler. You will NOT have a hitch with the tow package,

If you want to test, simply remove one of the hoses and see the red ATF.

Flow the lines from the small cooler. See where the go. I'm pretty sure its a tranny cooler. On your rear bumper do you have holes to mount a ball for towing. Also try a search I know there are pics posted on this.

On the first-gen Exploders, the factory auxiliary automatic tranny cooler will be about 6" high x 13" long and mounted on the driver's side in front of the radiator and A/C condenser. It will have two rubber hoses attached to it that put it in series with the radiator tranny cooler. Trace the rubber hoses back to where they hook up - one should terminate at a metal line that goes to the bottom tranny cooler fitting on the radiator and the other should terminate at a metal line that leads back to the transmission.
First-gen Ex fluid path is transmission to cooler fitting at top of radiator, bottom cooler fitting on radiator to auxiliary tranny cooler, tranny cooler back to transmission.

Just remember that the bumper is only rated as a Class II, so don't tow anything big with it. If you tow anything over 3k lbs, you should install a Class III hitch.

that is very true. i have pulled my 18' boat on the bumper and a snowmobile trailer with 2 machines on it. i hope to get a reciver hitch this spring before i really start pulling my boat.

while you are all talking about tranny coolers. I was under the x this last weekend to change the oil for the first time, and let me add it was very easy with the oil filter right there, and i noticed a little cooler in front of the oil pan, is this a tranny or oil cooler?

Thanks guys

Sounds like you were looking at the power steering cooler.

ohh neat, i wasnt aware it had that. It is about 13 inches long and 2-3 inches wide. Does that help any?
