Do I need a pitman arm??

Hey y'all. I'm going to put a 5.5" superlift on my sploder next week with a friend and I was wondering if I need a drop down pitman arm or if I could do without one. Thanks a bunch

More often than not, TTB suspension need the dropped pitman arm to get the toe set and to help eliminate bump steer.

While some people have gotten away without using one, you might as well spend the $50 and get one.

I know that there have been posts on this before but do I need anything else besides pitman arm and brakelines? Are the brakelines for the front or for the rear? Thank you

If you plan on wheeling it, extended brakelines would be a nice addition.

Not sure how they come packaged anymore.

didn't the drop pitman arm come with the kit? I think you would definetly need one. As for the extended brakelines, it should be both (2)front and (1)rear. Parkbrake cable will be very tight, you will need and extension or a longer one from a ranger.
This would be a good time to change the bushings. There is a deal going on for these, check the forum.
A pitman arm puller. I had a hell of a time getting mine off.

So, which bushings do I need to replace? I'm getting the lift second hand from my buddy but he's keeping all the necessary stuff on his truck like brakelines and pitman arm and what not.

How much would the bushings run me? And I need front brakelines, pitman arm, and e-brake cable extension?

Guess I'll have to make a trip to 4wheel parts

You'll prolly want to look into getting a longer driveshaft made. Mine dropped after a quick stop at 65 and skidded along the pavement for awhile. It won't kill you, but it might...

probably the TTB pivot bushing (Axle pivot) seeing you are going to have the I-beams down to put in the drop brackets, and you are really going to need the rear brake line also, my truck is at about 3" of suspension lift and the rear stock line is almost taunt... (have the new lines sitting in a box waiting to be installed)
