Hi all,
I'm planning on doing the rear brake rotors and pads this weekend on my 97 XLT and was just wondering if I needed to purchase a special kind of pad for slotted rotors. I was planning on getting some Powerslot rotors, but I read in some catalogs that I needed a "semi-metallic, low-carbon pad" for slotted rotors. Can you guys please tell me if this is true? I was planning on getting the Performace Friction Carbon Metallics from Autozone.
Thanks in advance!
