Do injectors get pulled when replacing lower intake gasket?

You must love Labatt's...it's the official beer of the Binghamton Senators here, the minor league hockey team for the Ottowa Sen's. It goes down easy, but then again, those 12 ouncers aren't what they used to be!!! They're ALWAYS empty now.

Yeah, here in NY state the salt they put down is just ridiculous. You don't buy vehicles around here more than a few years old because any older and they're already starting to rust.

I've heard about you guys and your oil treatments to help slow the rust. What kind of oil are you using...aerosol? 10W30? Heh...

I use to sue a blend of gearoil and linseed mixed together, stinks like heck, but it works and smell goes away after a week or so. I don't anymore as i have not had anything newer for years.. lol

So i say let it rot, well ok take care of it a little bit before it falls apart... :)

Most pro places use a "rust check" oil lubrication mixture.

Yes in NY it is just as bad for SALT on the roads.

As for Labbats i hated that stuff.

My favorite was Molson Canadian what else to drink but Canadian, its the best of the best over here and there... :) :)

I have not drank for over 16 years now, not that i was an alcoholic, but i chose to give it up is all.

Yeah I'm probably going to be in the same boat eventually...I gave up smoking after 10 years, I'm on day 71 of being smoke-free today.

Now I need to quit the boozing before I pickle my liver.

4 years in the military taught me to smoke and drink like a machine. Not good. I've been out for about 2 years so there's no excuse anymore.

Yes i seen your smoking thread... thats funny smoking thread = HOT THREAD.. :)

I posted as you can see and i want to quit, but i need MEDS... lol

Lets not get off topic as your EX is going to be mad... lol

Yeah I need to do the left rear axle seal on the wife's explorer first...then the intake on the Ranger.

Heck, that EX has 200,000 miles on her and has been the best vehicle we've ever owned. Gear oil has been slinging onto the brake/rotor. It actually destroyed the brake pads and defaced the rotor. Oh well. It happens.

You have a 2000 explorer that has 200,000 miles on it..... WOW thats a lot of miles in such a short period of time. My 1993 Explorer has just over 216,400 Kilometeres = i think around 180,000 miles to 189,000 miles.
