Do the 2004 come with Factory Alarms?

I have a 2004 Expediton...it looks like they installed the alarm system on it. Does the 2004 EXPORER come with a factory alarm. We can't get it to run after changing out the starter. It seems like it is locked out. I have no keyless remotes. Didn't get any from the used dealer. Please let me know if you can help! Thank you!!

Not with alarms, but they do with PATS, not sure if that might be your issue...

if you have a 2nd key for the car, try it, it should start it, my guess is you guys disconnected the battery to change the starter, now the theft light is solid lit.

you can try this, go get a new pats key cut, and put it in and see if the truck starts.

if you do take it to the dealer, make sure they reflash the pcm for this.

the car loses pats key memory, on one key, the other should work.

they have a reprogram for this.
