That is a beautiful truck!!! ^^^

Side note, what did you use to paint your calipers?

Can you let me know where you got the Grilles from? Are they hard to install or is it a matter of just taking out the old grille and installing the new one?

Love the truck by the way.. never a big fan of Yellow except on Ferrari's but I like what you done.

Thank you... I painted them with normal metal paint. Just cleaned them up really well and sanded them. The paint has been holding up great.

You can get the grills here:

Was a direct bolt on. If memory serves me correctly I think I had to drill a hole or two.

Thanks Bud... 149 for the top grille is pretty expensive.. but I might have to do it.. if it doesn;t take any drilling :) Does the shine hold up? Looks like your in a good climate place so no need to worry about snow and salt like me :(

where did you get that hood and or scoop? nice!

Yeah its a little pricey but its solid metel material, its not cheap plastic. No snow here, but the weather is very corrosive here and the salt takes no prisoners. Any exposed metal or cheap chrome is a gonner in this humid sea climate. I have had it for about 2 years now and its still in perfect shape. Its in the sun ALL day.

Its my stock hood and I got the scoop I bought at the same place as my grille. I think its the same scoop as the 96' or so Mustang GT's. I had the scoop put on so it molds into the hood, it looks like its part of the hood. Next im actually cutting the scoop in front and back to get air to circulate. I want to bring my air charge temps down.

You might want to start a separate thread for your question.

I had put it on airbags but last October a lady desided to run me off the road so my strutbags blew and the bodykit in this next pic was destroyed a week after i had it painted to match the truck.

Sure do. Here ya go. BTW, if you ever want someone to put something like this under your hood just let me know. I can do either a 1.7L or a big 2.2L supercharger on any 02-05 V8 Explorer.

Your somewhat near me. You ever work on the 4.0L V6. I really want to trow a S/C on it. It's an 05 TXL-P Sport Trac.

Let me know.

:D
Thanks

I do live kind of near you and I could install a supercharger into your 4.0 X too. I am PM'ing you with my cell # if you want to give me a call to talk about it further.

What do you guys that have the TPMS do when you put on the new rims??? I want to put on some different rims on my 05 Explorer, but I hesitated because of the TPMS....(Tire Pressure Monitoring System).

Was wondering how hard it is to remove the rack tracks? I can just throw my bike and snowboard in the back.. i really dig the look with no roof rack

Quite easy. It took me about 15 minutes to take mine off. Then took another 1 hour to plug, seal, prep and paint the remaining holes where the screws held it on.

AWDROCKS....how much lower is that thing from stock, it's amazing!??

Rocket, did you do a write up or take pics while you put the KB on? Is it a Mustang kit? How many mods were needed to make it work with an Ex?
