we have to let go of the gas and then back on it, and from there it run good.
but we bough it used, to make it a family SUV (3 kids)... But we don't know whats the matter... I personally!!! Love my truck, but guys shes gonna make me sell it if i don't find a fix to the cure please help me...

Clean / check the MAF sensor.

have the fuel filters ever been changed?
Has the air cleaner been cleaned or changed?

Well The MAF sensor.. ill check that when i get home...

And The fuel filter I don't truly know i got the truck from my uncle and he left to Costa Rica and have no way of contacting him.. but i bought a new one (fuel filter) yesterday... and i'm going to install it today... hmmm, just to ask ? do i need anything else before i install the fuel filter like tubes or lines or what ever is there...

Thanks guys...

Welcome to the forum.

Search for the installation threads of the fuel filters or any of the other components in the stock 95-01 sub forum. Everything you need for a DYI is here, just take a little time and search it out.

You can do this, and this forum can help.

Thanks guys i'm going to take time to see the forum a little more... oh yea one more question. do you guys have any info on radio wires... well i dont think u guys will understand so ill show u with some pictures..

Thanks for the info guys

sounds like the air idle control valve.its connected to the upper intake plenum and controls idle .
2 number 10 metric bolts hold it on .try cleaning it with intake cleaner spray and reinstall it .it also has an electrical connector .plug and unplug it a few times to clean the connection.

good luck

Is the check engine light on ? If so it could provide troubleshooting clues.
Sounds like its starving for fuel, a fuel pressure check is in order.

okay guys "update"

I change the fuel filter yesterday, it was pitch black I was like there is my gas!
I clean the Air sensors like you guys said to do and did!
I also change the sparks plugs just to make sure i get clean burn.

And the truck feels like its riding a lot better...

But i discover something yesterday with my buddy, he owns a 95 Mitsubishi Montero and his truck just like mine when it reaches a certain speed you have to let go of the gas so it can shift.

So i think the truck in the cold times it does that.

But is no excuse for it to keep turning off. Well with me it rarely turns off, but somehow with the wife is always turning off. Don't you guys find that Funny?:D

i am have a similar issue starting wiht the shifting...I am going to flush the tranny and change the fluid. I hope that helps
