door ajar when the X is off?

when my X is off and i open the door it starts to beep so i can't use the manual lock and then close the door because it will open the lock thinking the X is on?

but wen the X is on the beep is gone and the door ajar does come on

the switch to the door light are on the latch its self. may have to disassembly the latch and lubricate really good

Could be broken/damaged wire(s) in the boot between the driver's door and the body or the door ajar switch. These are common problems on the 3rd Gens. Many have had luck spraying WD-40 in the hinges to lubricate the door ajar switch. If you do a search you will find quite a few posts about this.

i found the problem after taking my door apart and its not that it was the ignition were you put the key

wen on the ignition is push in wen off it comes out but is not coming out 50% of the time if i push it with my finger it stops idk if to put E40 or what

anyone has play with this part?
